The book "Yekaterinburg Mint reflects the 150 -year history of Yekaterinburg, talks about some circumstances of the construction of mining plants in the late XVII - early XVIII century, when regular minting of a copper coin was launched in Russia, about the foundation of Peter I City for copper as a monetary metal. Particular attention is paid to the importance of the appearance in the second half of the XVIII century of its own sign of the Yekaterinburg Mint - EM, who became the first brand of the city and gained fame throughout the Russian Empire.
This first book about the Yekaterinburg Mint, written not with a scientific or representative goal, but with a desire to talk about the declarative function of copper coins, about other monetary metals (silver, gold and platinum) and their connection with The history of Yekaterinburg, about the difficult processes of monetary production to everyone who is interested in the history of the Urals, the economy and finance of pre -revolutionary Russia.
For the first time, the products of the Yekaterinburg Mint, the largest regional monetary courtyard of the Russian Empire (80% of the copper coin), is considered as the subject of industrial design. Unique studies about the authorship of the design of various series of coins inventors and medallors of the St. Petersburg Mint, as well as historical logic and participation in the design of the imperial family.
Obnikova Olga Nikolaevna graduated in 1986 by the Novosibirsk State University with a degree in Economic Cybernetics. Cybernetics is a science of management and connections. The author’s worldview was greatly influenced by the course of lectures by Professor Boris Pavlovich Orlov in the economic history and lecture of academician Abel Gosevich Aganbegyan, the scientific inspirer "Perestroika" Gorbachev. In 1995, I took a course "Small Business Management" in Florida Atlantic University with specialization in the entertainment industry, educational multimedia products and museum affairs. The most impact on the author of the lectures of Professor Jack Green in strategic management had the greatest impact.
Over the past twenty -five years, she has been consulting in various fields. Since 2015, he acts as the head of the information and educational department of the Museum of Architecture and Design of Urgakh. In 2017, to popularize the annual lecture course, Alexei Gennadievich Mosin "Coin as a historical source", the author put forward the idea of an exhibition of coins of the Yekaterinburg Mint. The success of curatorial excursions in the chamber exhibition of coins from the collection of Alexei Gennadievich in the space of the Art Library Museum of Architecture and Design, the content of the lecture course of Mosin prompted immersion in the topic.
Since 2018, parallel to the main work, Olga Nikolaevna took part in the development of strategic plans for the development of several cities and territorial formations in community with Natalya Alekseevna Anisova (expert organization "Rosta", Tyumen) Responsibility - branding of territories, identifying historically significant places in the urban planning structure of settlements, tourism business, museum business
