Over its more than 60-year history in the theory of solving inventive problems (TRIZ), many useful ones arose, proved their performance of the instruments of setting and solving complex problems of various nature. At the same time, not only the tools were improved as such, but the basic postulates were clarified, the basic concepts were adjusted, their definitions were adjusted, its information base was developed and replenished.
In the proposed book briefly, simply, but to the best for practical use, the seventeen main tools for setting problems and nine methods for solving them are fully described. The main restrictions on the creative process and its activators are examined in detail, in particular methods of developing creative imagination.
The whole presentation is accompanied by examples. Most chapters have material for self -testing. The applications include the reference materials necessary for solving problems (methods for resolving contradictions, standards, lists of effects)
The book can be used by specialists as a TRIZ reference book, as well as as a textbook by students of senior schools of the school and students of secondary special and higher educational institutions in the study of methods of directed (controlled) creativity
