This book is devoted to the confrontation of two leading schools in the modern economic thought of the West --- Keynesians and neoclassicians, and in particular, the period of exacerbation of this struggle in the 60-80s of the XX century. The purpose of the study was to characterize the positions of prominent representatives of these areas on various issues of economic theory, identify the historical roots of their views, as well as an analysis of the influence of these theories on the policy of government circles of various countries.
