In the first book of the second volume of the cycle of publications dedicated to the history of the Slavic Cyril printing of the XV - early XVII centuries, it is described about the beginning of typography among the southern Slavs, mainly about the printing house, which in 1493-1496 worked in Tsetigne - the ancient capital of Montenegro. The book opens with the head dedicated to source studies and historiography of the issue. The reader will get acquainted with how the publications of the first Montenegrin printing house were open and studied. He learns about scientists who worked in this field. The second chapter tells about the origins of the Montenegrin printing. Here we are talking about socio-political, general cultural and material and technical prerequisites for the appearance of a typographic machine on the lands of the Southern Slavs. The third chapter is devoted to the beginning of South Slavic printing. Here, more or less details are described about the books of the Latin font intended for the Southern Slavs, as well as the verb print, which preceded Kirillovsky. The fourth chapter is about the history of the emergence and activities of the first Montenegrin printing house.
