“The economy of good and evil” is the result of Thomas Sedlachek’s thoughts on how a person’s ideas about the world have changed from an economic point of view. The author offers to look at the economy not as a strict scientific discipline, but as a cultural phenomenon, a product of our civilization. He turns to the most important historical sources and works of great thinkers: from the Sumerian epic and the Old Testament to ancient Greek and Christian literature, from Rene Descartes and Adam Smith to the modern era of postmodernism, to show the development of the economic worldview. In his study, Sedlachki applied an interdisciplinary approach, convincing the reader that the concepts and concepts that the economy operates are beyond its discipline. Thus, Sedlachki considers the issues of meta economy, which are directly related to history, philosophy, anthropology, sociology and cultural studies. The “deconstruction” of the economy made by the author made it clear that the economy, in fact, is dealing with the issues of good and evil
