The publication presents an overview of the main algorithms used in the conduct of commercial and financial calculations. The logic of discounting and increasing operations has been considered, schemes and algorithms for evaluating cash flows are described in detail, and the evolution of quantitative methods for evaluating financial transactions is shown. The fourth edition (1st ed. - 1999) made additions to a number of chapters, and the bibliographic list was also significantly expanded. The publication was prepared by the state of the law for June 2010 for teachers and students of economic universities, scientific and practical workers specializing in the field of financial and accounting management
