The monograph discusses the theoretical and methodological aspects of strategic planning for the development of rural territories of the region based on Forsyt. An analysis of the current state and development trends of rural territories of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Practical recommendations have been formed on state support for the development of the agro -industrial complex of the regions of the Volga Federal District. The results of the Forsyt-Prognus of the development of rural territories of the Republic of Bashkortostan are presented.
