What is this book about
Despite the fact that marketing on social networks (Social Media Marketing (SMM) has existed for more than eight years, information on this topic is still quite small. Most published books praise SMM in all ways and convince us to do it. They are happy to answer the question "what can SMM give you?", But do not give practical tips on how to build work in order to get the expected effect.
And even more important, most books on the topic are written by Western experts and are based on "that" reality. They do not take into account that in Russia social network No. 1 is VKontakte, not Facebook. They do not know that the portrait of a typical Twitter user in Russia is not at all the same as in the USA. Finally, they lose sight of the fact that the inhabitants of the United States are much more actively interacting with the brands in general, and this leaves a serious imprint on the marketing strategy on the Internet.
