The course of lectures covers the events and trends that took place in the key areas of the Russian economy in 200-2018. The emphasis is on demonstrating the logic of the evolution of processes with the analysis of causal relationships, the consideration of forecasts and their advantages and disadvantages. The areas of industry and finance (state budget, pension, banking and non -banking systems), human capital (education, healthcare, housing policy) and institutions, political economy, as well as the role of the state in the economy are covered.
