Theoretical and practical issues of banking risks in a modern commercial bank are considered, the main trends in the development of banking risks are revealed, innovative forms of banking risks are being studied, and the practice of managing and regulating significant banking risks is evaluated. The study is based on the analysis, evaluation of directions, methods and mechanisms of reducing, evaluating and forecasting banking risks in modern Russian and foreign banking practice. The peculiarity of the study lies in the fact that the analysis of banking risks was carried out in close linking with modern development trends in the Russian banking sector.
