Despite the preservation by the group of developing East Asian states relatively higher rates of economic growth, in recent years there has been a steady tendency to reduce them, which is primarily associated with the accumulation of internal structural imbalances and excessive dependence on export and the dynamics of demand in foreign markets. The desire to maintain the position of the locomotive of world development stimulates the countries of the region to diversify sources of economic growth. From the model moving the expansion of foreign trade, Asian states are gradually crossing! to the relatively faster accumulation of investments and the expansion of domestic demand.
The emerging changes in the economic policy of the countries of the region can also influence the nature of general -reicing integration processes, which in response can determine the effectiveness of the transition of the region of the region to the new model of economic growth.
The book is an analysis of the trends and features of the economic development of the states of the East Asian region in recent years, as well as the prospects for expanding the general regional integration processes and trends, taking into account new strategic priorities in their economic policy. The author presents recommendations on the methodology of studying regional integration processes, and the methods of the openca of "integration components" and "integration potential" of existing and potential associations were developed.
The work provides a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of the integration associations created in the region - ASEAN, ASEAN - China, ASEAN - Japan, ASEAN - the Republic of Korea, a comprehensive economic and mathematical modeling of the general -rending integration processes was carried out, the prospects for the formation of the East Asian community were revealed. In the conclusion, the main conclusions regarding the development trends of the region at the present stage, its trade and consumer potential, the effectiveness of the created integration associations, and also presented the forecast of future areas of development in the region of integration processes and trends
