The monograph is devoted to the theory of the principle of Maxim Pontryagin in application to a special class of tasks of optimal management that arise in the economy in the study of economic growth processes. The first chapter of the monograph sets out a new approximation approach leading to a complete set of necessary optimality conditions in the form of the principle of maximum Pontryagin. The focus is characterized by the behavior of a conjugated variable and Hamiltonian tasks at infinity. In the second chapter from the standpoint of the proposed approach, one task of the theory of endogenous economic growth about the optimal dynamic distribution of labor resources is studied.
