Nikolai Ivanovich Ziber (1844–1888) Popularizer Ricardo and Marx, who became a Marxist even before the appearance of Marxism, a connoisseur of primitive economic culture, anticipated economic anthropology, a critic of marginalism to his triumph. The anthology presents texts of different years about the biography and theoretical heritage of Ziber, rare archival materials and letters are published. The compilers of anthology express the hope that the collection will form a base, on the basis of which it is possible to evaluate the contribution of Ziber to political economy, Marxism, economic anthropology, as well as faster and more clearly reconstruct various contexts of that era.
