The author’s monograph by the corresponding member of the RAEN, Doctor of Economics, General Director of the Institute of Planetary Development (Dubai, the UAE) A.V. Bezgodov "Planetary rent as an instrument for solving global problems" is devoted to the economic mechanisms of implementing the concept of controlled harmony. The monograph sets out the innovative theory of planetary rent as an instrument of forming a planetary budget, the funds of which can be solved by global problems, the foundations of a new economy that meets the requirements of biocompatibility and justice in the distribution of world income are laid. Planetary rent is revealed as the next historical phase of the development of the institution of rent, in which the contradiction in it will be removed, associated with the alienation of excess income. Various scenarios of the dynamics of the world economy are considered, the model of the planetary economy is described as the result of the transition to the biocentric paradigm of human activity and the technologies of the sixth way, the place and role of planetary rent in the new reality
