The work considers trends and new phenomena in the development and regulation of international trade, modern transformational processes in the global economy, which occur mainly under the influence of technological factors - digitalization, the spread of "subversive" technologies of the fourth industrial revolution. Foreign trade and globalization aspects of transformation processes are analyzed in detail. The evolution of the international trading system, the prospects of megaregionalism and global regulation in the trade and economic sphere have been investigated. The increased scale of the partnership of the state and business in promoting national economic interests in the international arena is shown. The tasks and directions of the foreign economic expansion of Russia, the development of domestic non-resource exports, further work on integration and trade and political tracks have been determined, taking into account the ongoing structural and technological shifts.
