This monograph describes the methodology of modeling and forecasting the housing market, in the creation and development of which the authors took part in the past 25 years of the latest history of the Russian market economy. The fundamental thesis was the opinion of academician V.V. Ivanther that economic forecasting is not only the answer to the question “what will happen?”, But primarily to the question “what will happen if ...”, that is.
