The educational publication examines traditional and new approaches in the field of management. The first section reveals a traditional approach to management, sets out the essence of management in a modern organization, examines intraorganizational processes, as well as the processes of the organization’s interaction with the external environment. In the second section on the new version of the 21st century management, new concepts of leading theorists in the field of management are proposed, which will help to understand the meaning of changes that occur today. Chapter 15 was built based on the materials of Thomas Jackson’s unique book “Hosin Canry: how to make a strategy to work”, which describes the experience of introducing an effective methodology by Hosin Canry in Toyota. A distinctive feature of the textbook is that in it the consideration of traditional and new versions of management is carried out from the perspective of the most effective use of the organization’s potential, and, first of all, human potential, for the successful existence of the organization in the long term in the dynamically changing world of business.
