The textbook is written in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty 43.02.14 “Hotel business” and is intended for use in the study of the discipline “Management and personnel management in hotel business”. The manual discusses the basic concepts of management and personnel management in relation to the activities of modern hotel enterprises. Attention was paid to the issues of hotel classification in the Russian Federation and the standardization of hotel services in accordance with the current state of the regulatory framework of the hospitality industry. Each section of the training manual is equipped with materials in the form of creative, problematic tasks and situational tasks to consolidate the knowledge gained, questions for self -control, tasks for independent work of students and tests to assess the quality of discipline development
