The training manual considers the current state of the theory of logistics, discusses the elements of the mathematical model of reserves and the basics of numerical methods of the theory of queues, analyze single -product options for determined and probabilistic tasks of managing reserves, their generalization for the multinocial -prophet and application to supply systems. Particular attention is paid to the problems of the restored ZIP, the methods of managing stocks and the theory of queues in particular, the options for the "metric" management of echeloned supply systems with the restoration organs, the problem of “cannibalism” (disassembling products into components) and methods of optimizing supply systems. Final chapters can be used as a set of topics for term papers and dissertations. Fortran programs of two important tasks of managing multi-nominal stocks are given.
