The duration of the life cycle of the organization and its stages depends on many factors that determines among which is the effectiveness of management. The effectiveness of the organization depends on how its managers and employees understand, evaluate and take into account in their actions its life cycle and the features of each of its stage, how adequately the leaders select methods for managing organizational changes. Modern organizations operating in the conditions of continuous changes in the external environment are experiencing a series of centralization, mergers, decentralization processes, as well as restructuring management systems, up to the procedures for restructuring and the development of a network of small firms around the preserved nucleus of the maternal company.
In the general case, the management task is not to eliminate all the problems available in the organization, but to concentrate on the problems that are significant for the current stage of the life cycle, cope with them and switch to the next stage. This manual presents cases on assessing the stage of the organization’s life cycle, the analysis of organizational behavior and areas of management at various stages of the life cycle.
The publication is intended for students studying in the areas of training 38.04.01 "Economics" and 38.04.02 "Management" (master"s magistracy)
