This work is devoted to the legal analysis of the influence of the principle of good faith on the behavior of the creditor when recovering interest and other payments under a loan agreement. The author considers questions about the legal nature of interest on the use of a loan, their difference from the interest provided for in Art. 395 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, on the amount of interest rate, on measures to limit usurious interest, on the procedure for changing the interest rate by agreement of the parties and unilaterally, on the terms and procedure for accruing and paying interest, on the calculation of interest in the bankruptcy of the borrower, issues of subsidizing the interest rate . The ratio of the concepts of "commission" and "other payments" under a loan agreement is investigated.
