In this monograph, the emphasis is on the study of intellectual migration, which is part of labor migration. Are its types, causes and consequences for countries considered? Donors and recipients are given the socio-demographic characteristics of structural flows, the motives of the movements of students, graduate students and scientists are revealed. The authors describe the methodology and methods of studying migration processes.
This work is part of the study, the main message of which is the possibility of increasing the efficiency of the migration management system as a phenomenon in order to build an innovative development economy in Russia.
The work was performed on the basis of the laboratory on the study of migration processes of the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples. Work may be of value to scientists and practitioners interested in migration problems, state regulation of migration, educational institutions implementing academic mobility programs
