Scientific research and innovative technologies provide a wide range of information for the design of clothing with fundamentally new functions that provide a person with both extreme and normal living conditions. However, the use of innovative technologies and new materials requires an informal intellectual approach of the designer to the design process, assuming to comprehend the need and the possibility of using new technologies to create products of increased functionality. For the intellectualization of the process of designing products of increased functionality, the current directions of the use of innovative technologies in the production of clothing are considered. A system of foiling clothing is proposed, designed to form optimal functional design solutions of new products. In order to develop the direction of environmentally friendly materials, biodegradable non-woven canvases based on bacterial cellulose were obtained, the physical and mechanical properties of the developed material were investigated from the position of the possibility of designing and manufacturing sewing products based on it. The prospects of using plastic in clothing as an earnings in the field of raw materials processing are considered. An analysis of the influence of sports compression clothing on the human body with recommendations for personified design was carried out. The approaches to the design of interactive clothing with signal functions, the functions of conservation of form, aromatization, protection are considered. The stages of designing a personified product with elements of intellectualization are described, allowing formalizing data that include systematic information about the requirements for the product, its functions, and design, compositional and technological solutions.
