The book is a deep analysis of the processes of integration and cooperation in the East Asian region. Based on extensive factual material and statistical data, regional integration features, factors that contribute and impede the interaction of the countries of the region were revealed. The multi -level nature of East Asian regionalism is represented, based on the analysis of the evolution of the processes of economic integration and cooperation (ASEAN, ASEAN+1, ASEAN+3, ASEAN+6), the most significant results were identified and the programs developed by the countries of the further interaction program were considered.
Based on the methods of quantitative analysis and economic and mathematical modeling, including using copyright methods and calculations, the most promising directions and the format of further interaction of the countries of the region are determined, a probable sequence of the formation of the general-sternal zone of free trade is identified, and recommendations on the research methodology are given integration processes in East Asia.
