A.L. Kudrin is an economist, statesman, politician. He headed the Ministry of Finance of Russia from 2000 to 2011. The publication contains its main articles, performances and interviews since the beginning of the 1990s. Until the end of 2019, they give a fairly complete idea of the system of transformations that, according to Kudrin, it is necessary to undertake to solve the problems of the Russian economy.
The first volume included: Conversation with A.L. Kudrin about his life and activity, articles on the economic development of the country, budget policy, a stabilization fund, on overcoming a crisis, economic growth, government tasks, performances at various venues - in the Ministry of Finance, in the State Duma, at a meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and national projects. For the first time, the texts of his speeches are published at meetings of the collegiums of the Ministry of Finance and a joint meeting of colleges of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development, characterizing the style of work by A.L. Kudrina as a Minister of Finance
