The textbook was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the third generation according to the basic discipline of the professional cycle Production studies of homogeneous groups of non -food goods. It discusses the commodity classification of non -food products, their consumer properties, quality and safety requirements, the main types of evaluative activities in commodity studies, and general requirements for information about non -food products. Classification signs are given and a characteristic of the assortment of 14 homogeneous (specialized) groups of non -food products is given. The rules and procedure for conducting quality control of these goods are considered.
