The theoretical foundations of real estate cadastre and cadastres of natural resources are set out, classifiers used to maintain a unified real estate register are given. The activity on the formation of cadastral accounting facilities, as well as the organizational foundations of the activities of cadastral engineers, was considered.
Particular attention is paid to land management issues as the basis for the implementation of cadastral work, the formalization of the latest technologies in cadastral activity. Features of the implementation of complex cadastral works on the formation of land plots are set out. The author"s classification of natural resources is presented and the experience of maintaining forest and water registers is widely covered.
A retrospective analysis of the formation of cadastral systems in Russia and abroad is given. Ways to improve the registration and registration system in the Russian Federation are proposed on the basis of the identified world trends in the development of cadastral systems.
