The legislation establishes uniform requirements for accounting. The main documents governing accounting for economic entities, with the exception of organizations of the budget sphere, are federal accounting standards. The federal accounting standards establish the minimum necessary requirements for accounting, as well as acceptable methods of accounting for economic entities, with the exception of organizations of the budget sphere. The federal accounting standards are equated with accounting provisions approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation from October 1, 1998 to the day of the Federal Law of December 6, 2011 No. 402-ФЗ “On Accounting”. This publication contains the necessary regulatory documents establishing the requirements for accounting for economic entities, with the exception of organizations of the budget sphere: the Federal Law “On Accounting”, as well as all applicable accounting provisions and federal accounting standards, including FSBU No. 6 /2020, FSBU No. 26/2020 and FSBU No. 27/2021.
