The book of Peter Colomnina, published at the very end of the XIX century, still remains almost the only example of the original Russian publication, fully dedicated to the set, layout and typography. Until the middle of the 20th century, almost all books on the printing case, published in the USSR, borrowed texts and illustrations from Kolomnin.
