The new book of the "Russian chanson" series tells about the actor and classist Boris Sichkin.
All-Union glory and recognition to him brought the role of Castor"s boobs in the film "Elusive Avengers". Boris Mikhailovich Sichkin lived interesting, full of drama life. But Maestro managed to manage everything: to work in the cinema, writing books, record records, playing in the theater ... His motto was a line of Castor"s Buba verse: I never cry!
The book included the stories of Boris Sichkin "from the first person", as well as memories of loved ones, colleagues and friends: Son Emelyan, composer Alexander Zhurbin, actor Viktor Kosh, chanson, Willie Tokarev and Mikhail Shufutinsky, Poets Tatyana Lebedovskaya, Writers Sergei Dovytova and Alexander Polovtsa, photographer Leonid Babushkin and others.
Illustrate the edition of more than one hundred previously not published photos.
The book is accompanied by a gift DVD with a rare video of the artist, as well as with songs, jokes and miniatures recorded by Boris Sichkina in emigration, most of which were not previously published in Russia
