The tragedy "Boris Godunov" is one of the greatest creations of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin (1799-1837) - it was written in 1825 during the reference to Mikhailovskoye, and the idea arose at the poet after reading the history of the Russian state N. M. Karamzin. Description of the Troubles of the beginning of the XVII century and the struggle for the Russian throne reminded Pushkin his own time, and the right of power became one of the main in the work. In the sketches of the preface to the tragedy, the author wrote: "The study of Shakespeare, Karamzin and the old ones of our chronicles gave me the thought of clothing into the dramatic forms one of the most dramatic eras of the newest story. I did not make any other influence, Shakespeare I made up in his free and wide image of characters, in a careless and simple compilation of plans, I followed Karamzin in the bright development of incidents, I tried to guess the image of thoughts and the language of time
