The new book of the famous trainer Mark the butler is dedicated to one of the most important facets of positional skill - the art of playing figures, the ability to maneuver, find the best fields for figures. The “introduction” discusses various aspects of the art of maneuvering, and then the reader offers an extensive collection of exercises - from elementary to quite difficult. The ability to skillfully maneuver is important in all stages of the party, therefore, among the exercises there are debut, and mittelshpil, and endglass positions, not only taken from practical parties, but also sketches. Detailed comments in the “answers” are not limited to indicating the only correct sequence of moves and the side options explaining it: the author sought to reproduce the logic of searching for a decision, show how the chess player for the board could come to the right conclusions.
