The new book of the international arbitrator and international organizer Alexander Tkachev consists of three parts.
The first part - the official rules of the sport "Chess", approved by order of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2020 No. 988. They fully comply with the international rules of the FIDE.
In the second part, controversial situations that arose in the recent competitions of various levels are understood in detail. The reader may try to first answer the questions asked, remembering the relevant articles of the rules, and then check his answers.
The third part of the book is of particular interest: 200 questions of the test for knowledge and the correct interpretation of the current chess rules. The solution of this test will be of great benefit to the current chess players, since the clear knowledge of its "rights and obligations" not only helps to save the nervous system, but also brings many additional points in the competition.
