About the book
During a school tour of the local swamps, Sandy wept too far and stumbled upon the shell of the turtles. She looked inside with one eye - and suddenly fell into a new magical dimension.

Why did we decide to publish this book:
releasing the first book of Lorena - "Firefly" - we were worried. The story in the comic book is very unusual and a little scary. But readers appreciated the artist’s most beautiful work, and the book triumphantly walked, it seems, for all the communities known to us with the topic "The Cool Illustrations here". Now we are releasing a second story about Sandy. It is not related to the plot with the first, so you can start reading with anyone. We hope that you will evaluate a completely different color scheme - so spring! And new characters - both kind and frightening. Now we are no longer worried, because we know how warmly they accept Loren with us.

About the author
Lorena Alvarez was born and raised in the capital of Colombia - Bogota. The hometown and colorful, as well as the atmosphere of the Catholic school, where Lorena studied in childhood, had a great influence on her work.
Lorena studied graphic design and visual art at the National University of Colombia. After graduating from the university, she illustrated children"s books, worked with independent publishers, in advertising and in fashion magazines.
Since 2008, Lorena, together with other artists, has been cooperating with the experimental theater of puppets La Prochesion Puppet Club
