The new work of the famous grandmaster, coach and theorist A. Dreev is devoted to the typical methods of playing the endgot. Avoiding banal examples that wander along the pages of textbooks, the author pays a lot of attention to non -standard situations in which one has to make responsible independent decisions, and not rely only on memory and knowledge of basic positions. Almost all fragments are taken from the practice of elite grandmasters, including many examples of the author’s work, a recognized master of the game in the endings.
Thoroughly selected exercises will help the reader consolidate the knowledge gained and increase his level of game in the endings, and most importantly, to imbue the sympathy for this part of the part of the party so important today.
