The work of Johann German Tsuckertort is one of the most striking pages of chess art of the XIX century. A participant in the first match for the world championship, the triumph of the largest international tournament in London of 1883, Tsuckertort was a successor to the glorious romantic traditions of the “old” combination school and, at the same time, one of the creators of the “new” positional school. Therefore, the style of Tsuckertort was marked by special harmony and grace.
Most of the 30 parties are commented on by Tsuckertort himself and his historical rival Steinite.
For educational purposes, the material is defeated in thematic sections, each of which has been preceded by a brief introduction.
Having studied this book, you undoubtedly strengthen your game and get true pleasure!
