Now I know that what is truly scary is not in school, but in the adult world, populated by normal people who once graduated from school. High school is difficult. Scary. Bitter. And lonely. It's hard not to have the ability to express feelings. It's scary that something is happening inside that neither you nor those around you can understand. Bitter and lonely because you hate the whole world. And it seems to reciprocate. The heroes of "Blue Bird," teenage schoolchildren, face life's difficulties. Each of them finds it hard in their own way and it seems like the situation is hopeless. They are helped by Murauti-sensei, a Japanese teacher. For him, speaking is torture - he stutters, so he tries to speak only about what is important. Listening, being there, and helping on time - that's why he works at the school.
