The book is the first complete edition of the poems of an outstanding Peruvian poet of the XX century. Cesera Vallejo, the works of which are recognized as one of the vertices of the Latin American lyrics, and includes three poetic collection - "Black Gerolds" (1919? D), "Trils" (1922) and "Human Poems" (published in 1939 , a year after the death of the poet) After World War II, the poems S. Vallejo, who regularly published in Hispanic countries, brought a wide fame to the author both in Europe and in their native continent. Although S. Valleho is a convinced republican and anti-fascist - empathized the development of socialism and even visited the USSR in 1927, his poetry, imbued with the revolutionary civilian pathos and humanism, motifs of Indian art and surrealism, is still familiar to the Russian reader. Many translations are published in this edition for the first time. The book also included publicist works by S. Vallejo, dedicated to the poetic craft, fragments from the book "Russia, 1931. Reflections from the walls of the Kremlin" and Essay Vladimir Mayakovsky
