Interest in the study of business networks in Russia has been increasing sharply. This is dictated by the interests of state policy, the redistribution of control to the regional level, and the establishment of horizontal connections of enterprises in the regional business environment. Networks allow you to operationalize the scientific concepts of social and human capital, to jointly consider social and economic ties and their mutual influence on the development of organizations. Socio-economic interactions in Russia are traditionally based on personal trust, so the share of unpredictable interactions is extremely great, unlike countries with a developed market economy. The network approach can be used in the study of both intra -final and external interactions of the organization. The book is an addition to the basic textbook on social networks “Network measurements in sociology” (M., 2004) It describes in detail and analyzes the methods of building business networks of different levels-industry, corporate and personal. As a database, the results of quantitative and qualitative surveys conducted with the participation of the author, as well as text databases from open sources were used
