The name of Vasily Sukhomlinsky is widely known not only in Russia, but also abroad. One of the greatest Soviet educators, a communist and art theorist - he became the creator of the late Soviet school of the 1970s-1980s, which is now often referred to as the lost pedagogical paradise. Sukhomlinsky's subtle humanism, tactfulness, deep belief in the good beginning living in every person, have found recognition worldwide. Here he constructs a comprehensive system of education, which ultimately formed the basis of the Soviet school.
