The textbook is included in the system of educational and methodical sets "Algorithm of success".
The biology course of the 10th grade presented in the textbook is revealed on the basis of the knowledge gained by students in previous classes, and is a logical continuation of the course of grade 9 dedicated to the basics of general biology. The properties of living matter are considered at different levels of its organization. In the 10th grade course, three of them are presented, starting with the highest: biosphere, biogeocenotic and population-visid.
The educational material is divided into four sections and twelve chapters, each of which ends with materials for self -control and the development of students" creative capabilities. The text of the textbook is illustrated and supplemented by the dictionary of terms of the studied sections of biology.
