Yanka Diaghilev never gave an interview during her life - she preferred honesty. I can lure - I will say one thing, and after ten minutes - a completely different one. Her songs were just as honest and piercing, which instantly won love and recognition from colleagues by stage, and then from listeners throughout the country. The tragically died under unknown circumstances in her 24 years, Yanka was able to leave an inconsistent mark in the history of Russian rock music and became the brightest representative of the Siberian underground. The publication that you hold in your hands is devoted to a variety of aspects of life and work of Yana Diaghileva. This book is not a biography of the Yankee in the generally accepted sense of the word: it is divided into several parts, among which there is a brief biography of the Siberian rock performer, and a number of interviews with her loved ones, as well as interesting facts and study of the creativity of Yankees-the analysis of ideas and motives, hidden in her poetry. The author of the publication is Kristina Power, candidate of philological sciences, in 2019 she published the book "The structure of artistic space in Russian rock poems: Alexander Bashlachev, Yegor Letov, Yanka Diaghilev"
