The book tells all women awarded the titles of the Hero of the Soviet Union and the Hero of the Russian Federation, as well as the full gentlemen of the Order of Glory. Among them: pilots, underground, nurses, partisans, astronauts, signalmen, athletes and representatives of other professions. For the first time, their biographies are collected under one cover. For the first time, these biographies are written on the basis of archival documents, and not in the form of beautiful essays, in which everything does not always correspond to historical truth.
Unfortunately, it so happened that the names of some heroines of this book are known to almost everyone, and the names of the rest (and most of them) are only a narrow circle of historians. To eliminate such injustice, this book is written, which will become a kind of monument to the already departed heroines.
All biographies are illustrated by photographs (including many previously not published) At the end of each biography, detailed information about the awards and titles of heroines is contained, and the player pilots have lists of their air victories.
All this allows us to consider this publication a kind of encyclopedia, which will undoubtedly interest a wide range of readers. Historians and local historians will also find a lot of interesting things in the book
