It was a sensational find: at the end of the Second World War, the American military lawyer Benjamin Ferenz discovered carefully pissed detailed reports on the murders made by special teams - the Ainzatsgroups of the SS. Ben Ferenz who discovered the documents became the main prosecutor in the trial in Nuremberg, who examined the most massive murders in the history of mankind. SS senior officers of the SS presented to the court were charged with the systematic destruction of more than 1 million people, mainly on the territory of the USSR occupied by the Nazis. Later, Ferenz was a central figure in negotiations on the payment of compensation to the victims of the Holocaust, made a significant contribution to the development of determining the UN aggression and to the creation of an international criminal court. The book is based on personal conversations of the author, Swiss researcher Philip Gut, with Ben Ferenz, as well as a wide range of historical documents. The responsible scientific editor of the Russian publication was the judge of the UN International Tribunals in Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia (retired), Professor B.R. Tuzmukhamedov, comments were prepared by a German history specialist, professor O.Yu. Plenkov
