This book is not just Memoirs M.B. Smolensky. This is actually the story of our time where the life of one family has fit. You will see faces and hear the voices of politicians, scientists, military, writers, poets and actors, as well as ordinary people. You will see the streets, houses and things that have long disappeared and seemed forgotten, get acquainted with ideas that have already been discarded, but for a long time excited the minds of all mankind.
This created in the book an atmosphere of time in which people lived in Russia and the USSR. You will feel how, through a huge “black” that enveloped the country at different periods of its history, always made its way and found the way a happy, joyful and life -affirming “white”.
