The speed with which he gained momentum and became popular among students and teachers, their willingness to follow other people"s decisions was a shock for American society. Only a few refused to take part in it. Actually, the readiness of rapidly rallied students to punish the disagreements of the teacher himself and forced him to interrupt the experiment. In 1981, the Wave television series was shot in the United States, in 2008 the film of the same name was shot in Germany. Despite the fact that more than 40 years have passed since the real story, the topic remains relevant. The authors of the book, films, and the participants of this story, as it were, tell us - the danger is near, it is laid inside ourselves, we must be very honest first of all with ourselves.
