This is a collective portrait of the Komsomol. Not registered, but sincere, voluntary research.
A unique collection of memoirs of dozens of people (historical figures and currently acting) and the answer of the fathers to the question of children: "What is the Komsomol?" We tell the story in a new way, from unusual points of view, from the standpoint of the experience. The interlocutors of the author - journalist, writer Alla Sushchinskaya, create a living mosaic panorama, a kind of mixing, brightly sounding, far -audible from their revelations.
This is a real picture: without propaganda and without drum ideology. Commentators, famous figures, do not idealize the Komsomol, do not cover the shortcomings and tragedy with the "curtain of nostalgia", but they are convinced that in the legendary multimillion -dollar organization there was a lot of attractive, important for young people ...
