Vladimir Ivanovich Dolgikh (1924-2020) was born in the small Siberian town of Ilan, at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War as a volunteer went to the front, and was seriously wounded. After the war, he graduated from the institute, worked at metallurgical enterprises in Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk. He led the Krasnoyarsk Territory, after which he was invited to Moscow to the post of head of the industrial department of the Central Committee. For three five -year Vladimir, Vladimir Dolgikh led the entire Soviet heavy industry, and after the collapse of the USSR he headed the Public Organization "Krasnoyarskiyskoye fraternity" and the Moscow city organization of veterans.
