The fate of the youngest son of Joseph Stalin after the death of his father on March 5, 1953 developed tragically. Vasily Stalin was arrested on April 28, 1953 and sentenced to 8 years in prison for anti -Soviet propaganda. In prison, he fell ill and actually became disabled. After serving the deadline for the place of residence, the city of Kazan was determined to him. He was forbidden to live in Moscow and Georgia, as well as to bear the surname "Stalin", in the passport he was called "Dzhugashvili". He died on March 19, 1962.
