The book presents the experience of hundreds of mothers, including interviews with specialists working with mothers, and with women themselves, who is analyzed using data from neurobiology, somatic therapy, and consciousness practices and hypnotherapy.
The author attaches great importance to the emotional reactions of mothers to problems with breastfeeding, noting the increased risk of postpartum depression in such women and the loss of communication between mother and baby in similar cases.
